Jesus is Not Coming Back Soon: Start Taking Responsibility
I wanted to include this short snippet to admonish those that are sitting on the sidelines.
The fact is, Jesus is not coming soon, and we either need to start to build something, or get behind and support the builders.
The seeds we plant today will determine the future of our children and grandchildren, and beyond.
To not plant, water, or build based upon the victorious revelation in the Bible, is to surrender the future to our enemies.
As to supporting the builders, be sure to thoroughly vet them to ensure we’re not inadvertently supporting our enemies, or those that want to build a bridge to them.
We aren’t those that build bridges to our foes, we are those that blow up bridges so they can’t cross into our lands and destroy our people.
Jesus clearly stated this in Revelation 3:14-16:
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
The point is, those that aren’t hot or cold make Jesus sick to His stomach and want to vomit the lukewarm out. Don’t support or waste your time on the lukewarm Christians. We need to follow the example of Jesus and spew them out or our mouths as well.
Interestingly, even the cold were respected by Jesus in contrast to the compromising, lukewarm types.
Enough of the escapism that make so many Christians with little or no effect in today’s world. It’s time to admit and embrace the fact that Jesus isn’t going to come back until the Father makes His enemies a footstool for His feet (Psalm 110:1).
