100cc for a gallon bag because she is vacuuming the oxygen out. If not vacuuming all the oxygen out use a 300cc oxygen absorber.

I’d like to know where you got your sealer and what brand it is?

    • Linda Parsons

Jackie C I’m pretty sure she uses the Weston Commercial Vacuum Sealer. At least that is what she used to recommend. They run about $400 or more. But they are well worth it if you vacuum a lot.

Love your videos and have missed them

I’ve been dehydrating for many years now. Found you on YouTube a while back and binge-watched your videos then purchased The Ultimate Dehydrator Cookbook. Every time I watch a video or open that book I learn something new! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

Why do you bother wearing gloves.? You touching everything and contaminating everything!

Thank you so much for this wonderful updated video. I bought your “The Ultimate Dehydrator Cookbook” back in 2014 and it has helped me so much over the years. This new video is so important because it goes through ALL the steps including the dark containers. You are an inspiration to so many of us. Hoping to see more vids from you.

Is it true you have to warm rice in the oven to kill bugs before you pack it for long term storage?

    • T&L's Nana

I’m not sure what her answer will be. I freeze everything for a few days before storing for that same reason.

One of my favorite methods of long tern ammunition storage is to use the food saver with 3 mil bags and a desiccant to absorb any moisture. I’ve stored .38 Special & 12 gauge for 25+ years.

    Good to see you back.
I consider you the Queen of Food Storage 👍🏼

It sure would help if you had on a mic so we can hear you.

Could you also put a os2 absorber into the Mylar bag that you put your beans into even though you vacuum sealed just for an extra measure of caution?

  • Linda Parsons

Dehydrate2Store can you give me the site where you order your vacuum bags. You used to have it on your site but I don’t see it now. I used to order from them and loved them plus they are cheaper on their bags but I can’t remember where I got them. You can order the individual bags from them which I like too. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Looked on Tsc website, found only 1 bucket for 27.00 n 29.99. Were these ones you spoke of? Found mine along with gamma lids at Menards. Much cheaper!

  • Ollie Dynoduck

I must say, you are the best one out there yet although there are others very good…just not ‘the best’.
Thanks so much for great videos. Just wish I’d of seen them first. Maybe my fruit would’ve sounded crispy instead of plopping!
