How to Dehydrate and Use Mushrooms

Food dehydration is an effective and fun way to reduce waste, save money, go green, and practice preparedness! Dehydrated food lasts for years when stored properly, is lightweight, and doesn't require electricity to preserve. In this video, you will learn how to dehydrate and store mushrooms!     Just to back you up on this video………….I have been doing this for many years and vacuum packing them in mason jars and I have mushrooms from 2013 that are still as good as new.
    This video is great information so if you want to dry Shrooms………this is the way to do it!

    I bought about 10 pounds on clearance at Aldi’s. They were the sliced one. I will say I prefer slicing them myself. I thought they were too thick. I buy them on sale and slice them in my food processor. I vacuum seal them in canning jars. I give them as gifts. I never have fresh mushrooms when I need them. I don’t rehydrate my mushrooms. I like to fry them in some ghee until just a bit toasty. So delicious. I am so happy that you are making videos again. I have learned so much from you and I have your book.
