We take the most common commercially available 5.7x28mm ammo and conduct some ballistics testing using a Ruger 57 pistol. How does the 5.7 do? How does it compare to 9mm? How does Elite Ammunition 5.7x28mm perform?
If you carry a gun for personal defense, you need to be protected from lawsuits or criminal charges should you need to use your firearm defensively. I recommend USCCA: https://tracking.deltadefense.com/aff_c?offer_id=94&aff_id=18652

Do you still carry the 90 grain extreme defenders from Underwood or have you switched carry ammo for something heavier?
@Hasid lafre whats that got to do with it?
@Military Arms Channel Are Black Hills HoneyBadger 9mm rounds the same type? They look the same.
@Military Arms Channel How about the Xtreme Defenders in .380? Still respect them?…………………….elsullo
@Ripp_Glavenhammer that means the patreon guys got it 3 weeks ago
@Non-Offensive Username honey badger and underwood both buy there projectiles from lehigh defense
Rather interesting results. I likey watching watermelons go boom. On a more serious note seeing the hydrostatic shock inside those watermelons is really interesting and I can see how it can somewhat be compared to lung tissue.
You forgot about the new and improved high tech fleece bullet stop behind your meat target. Yeah, I like Paul Harrell too.
This is cool and all but I think everyone would rather see how a 5.56 blows up a bicep
Go to Wisconsin to see!
Or any local “peaceful protest “
DoesNotInhale
Well, a criminal sure found out recently.
Yes, all three people shot(2 killed) had criminal records, one was a convicted pedo(Joseph Rosenbaum).
@Scalded Ape lake city 5.56 ammo but which one specificallg idk.
headstamps said LC on them
@Scalded Ape Right. I wonder if it was just 55 grain ball?
You forgot the new and improved high tech fleece bullet stop.
paul harrell is a good man with a solid backing.
@Constitutional Republican GROAN! Geoff Who appreciates subtle puns.
GCJT1949
And Shatner-esque pauses.
and leather jacket to simulate skin tissue, 4 layers of shirt in the front and back
I’m more of a 124 grain HST and Gold Dot man myself.
Both always good choices
HST Masterace
I want to see the new 5.7 Gold Dot in a few more tests.
5.7 is so much more powerful than the pud loaded stuff that you can find in big box stores.
Probably a lame comment, but anyone notice with the recent ammo shortages that even ammo- sponsored channels are firing less rounds in demos and presentations?
@Steve Yes
@m1911legend oh well America is a shithole anyways. Have you seen all the burnt down towns after the riots?
@Steve TRUMP 2020
@Steve Your racism is showing
I can’t even get the brand of lead pellets I like for target shooting. I was shocked to see all the sites I use are out.
“Paul Harrel wants to know your location”
Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, Paul Harrell is smiling and nodding. 😉
It’s probably raining too
You be the judge.
Someone has been watching Paul Harrell’s videos.
yes
20:23 “i will let you guys be the judge”
I see what you did there
After a month’s break, Military Arms Channel: “What is with all the watermelon vines here?”
hahaha true story time. so back around 08 me about a bunch of internet gun forum randos had rented out the area 51 range at the manatee gun club. it was like the 1st week of nov. we tannerited like 50 pumpkins that day….fast forward 4 months and i’m back on the same range for an apple seed shoot and someone says “why is their squash growing all over the berm?” i giggled and replied its a pumpkin patch.
since the vines weren’t fruiting yet she wanted to know how i knew it was pumpkin and not squash…..

“pretty nasty hole, not the best penetration” lol did that come out the way you wanted it to? Anyway, maybe you could try this with some FK Bruno ammo. They make big claims about it on their website, so it’s be cool to see what it actually does.
Do this please military arms channel.
This review is nonsense. Everyone knows that isn’t a mil-spec watermelon 👌
Grocery store clerk: oh great, here comes Tim again with 15 watermelons.
He’s the guy you read about in math textbooks.
Start using Chicken Leg Quarters to replicate the average Vegan-ISIS bicep.
Based.
oh my…
I believe this is called the “Rittenhouse Effect”.
“All humans are different, all watermelons are different” truer words have never been spoken
# watermelon lives matter
good info
Agreed, indeed
