There are a lot of heretics in the comment section.
@walter robertson you can find an answer to that question by reading the review.
Jamin Hubner Thank you very much for prodding me to read your abridged review of White’s book today. I was so tired last night I didn’t want to go through the whole process. I had been reading all day long in responding to others on other streams other than the one that you and I are communicating on.
What an absolute accurate understanding you have about what is going on within the Christian church today. I absolutely concur with your understanding of what is happening with James White and many other Trinitarians. This has been going on since the councils within the Roman empire. This continued anathematizing of individuals who do not hold to their doctrine. It really has stymied the church today and put a lot of fear in the hearts of Christians who desire to question whether or not certain doctrines be true for fear of being ostracized. Thank you for sharing. Walter
John Calvin
Where the distinction of persons taught in the Bible? I just need one verse proving it, jesus was God in the flesh and that spirit was the Father. There’s never any mention of an alleged God the Son. Jesus is called the Son of man 89 times and the son of God 47 times but is never referred to as God the son.
Jesus called the Father the only true God multiple times
Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
John 17:3 “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
That same God was in Christ
2 Cor. 5:19 “that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”
You would say that Jesus is just part of what makes up God, how ever the Bible teaches that everything that makes up God is in Christ
Col. 2:9 “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;”
Now please tell me where the Bible teaches the triune nature of God?
@Hosea 4:6 Did you mean for this to go to John Calvin? Amen brother. I’m right there with you on everything that you have shared. I’ve tried over and over again to share with Trinitarians the error of their doctrine. Hopefully you’ll be able to share this with John Calvin. It’s good for him to hear this. Your brother in Christ. Walter
walter robertson, I agree with everything you said and yes it was meant for John Calvin. Sorry for the confusion! Hopefully the people really this comments will actually let the Bible speak and not their man made creeds and confessions
*_Luke 18.10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”_*

2Co_11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
This man is preaching “another Jesus” and “another Spirit” which the Bible does not describe. Literally, there is NO place in all the Bible that describes our One God as “a unity of 3 persons.” It doesn’t exist.
If you believe it does, don’t just say it – prove it!

@Apologia Studios , 2 Peter 3:16 [15-17] ….15 Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him. 16 He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard so that you will not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing.… https://biblehub.com/2_peter/3-16.htm

Matthew 23: 2-4, {@Apologia Studios – YOU, J. White, the hypocrite, vippor, and fool} [ Seven Woes on the Teachers of the Law ] see Verse 13-39 noting to 2 Peter 3:16 YOU, J. White, THE ‘ignorant and unstable person that distorts, as you do the rest of the Scriptures, to your own destruction.’
Fantastic!
Too many heretics in the comments section.😷
DJ NJ “For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that 💥Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.”
Jude 1:4-5
DJ NJ “For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. 👉For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.”💥👈
1 Corinthians 10:1-4
DJ NJ let’s look at your verses again, these are your verses….““And it shall come to pass afterward, that 👉I will pour out my Spirit👈 on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”
Joel 2:28 . This is Jehovah God speaking that 👉he will pour out his spirit👈. Right?
DJ NJ “This 👉Jesus👈 God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses. Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, 👉he👈has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.”
Acts 2:32-33::::: the only “He” in context is your God Jesus. When/if you are saved one day by God’s grace alone you will say the same thing to Jesus that Thomas said. “My Lord and my God.”
@DJ NJ before a perfect and holy God, why do you think he would allow someone like you into heaven. You don’t even understand his nature and his word? Repent and believe in Jesus, the perfect lamb of God that took your place on the cross, enduring the wrath of the Father for you so that in him you might become the righteousness of God. For you this is what I pray 🙏🏻
I never thought so many Unitarians existed until I saw this comment section.
@Cory Edwards Once again, I wish you would delineate (is it possible?) the Reformed Theology doctrines you subscribe to. You seem very reluctant to go farther than to say of the RT doctrines: “What doctrines it produces are shown to be in agreement with scripture, and any challenge to the contrary is taken seriously, so long as it is grounded in scripture.” But Friend….what are they? This now seems steeped in mystery. Do you even know and speak about what you believe? On the other hand, I could go down the list of my own beliefs easily enough for you (if you would like any supporting Scriptures for these let me know):
1. Non-trinitarian; God is the Father of Christ, Christ is the literal, Divine Son of the Father, the Holy Spirit is THEIR unified Spirit.
2. That the Holy Scriptures, of the Old and New
Testaments, were given by inspiration of God, contain a full revelation of his will to man, and are the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
3. That Baptism (immersion) is an ordinance of the Christian
church, to follow faith and repentance, an ordinance by which we commemorate the resurrection of Christ, as by this act we show our faith in his burial and resurrection.
4. That the new birth comprises the entire
change necessary to fit us for the kingdom of God, and consists of two parts: first, a moral change, wrought by conversion and a Christian life; second, a physical change at the second coming of Christ, whereby, if dead, we are raised incorruptible, and if living, are changed to immortality.
5. We believe that prophecy is a part of God’s
revelation to man; that it is included in that scripture
which is profitable for instruction, 2 Tim. 3:16; that it
is designed for us and our children. Deut. 29:29; that
so far from being enshrouded in impenetrable mystery, it is that which especially constitutes the word
of God a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, Ps. 119:105, 2 Pet. 2:19; that a blessing is pronounced upon those who study it, Rev. 1:1-3; and that, consequently, it is to be understood by the people of God sufficiently to show them their position in the world’s history, and the special duties required at their hands.
6. That the doctrine of the world’s conversion
and temporal millennium is a fable of these last days,
calculated to lull men into a state of carnal security,
and cause them to be overtaken by the great day of
the Lord as by a thief in the night; that the second
coming of Christ is to precede, not follow, the millennium; for until the Lord appears the papal power, with all its abominations, is to continue, the wheat and tares grow together, and evil men and seducers wax worse and worse, as the word of God declares.
7. That the mistake of Adventists in 1844 pertained to the nature of the event then to transpire,
not to the time; that no prophetic period is given to reach to the second advent, but that the longest one,
the two thousand and three hundred days of Dan.
8:14, terminated in that year, and brought us to an event called the cleansing of the sanctuary.
8. That the sanctuary of the new covenant is the
tabernacle of God in Heaven, of which Paul speaks in Hebrews 8, and onward, of which our Lord, as great High Priest, is minister; that this sanctuary is the antitype of the Mosaic tabernacle, and that the priestly work of our Lord, connected therewith, is the antitype of the work of the Jewish priests of the former dispensation. Heb. 8:1-5, etc.; that this is the sanctuary to be cleansed at the end of the 2300 days, what is termed its cleansing being in this case, as in the type, simply the entrance of the high priest into the most holy place, to finish the round of service connected therewith, by blotting out and removing from the sanctuary the sins which had been transferred to
it by means of the ministration in the first apartment,
Heb. 9:22, 23; and that this work, in the antitype, commencing in 1844, occupies a brief but indefinite space, at the conclusion of which the work of mercy for the world is finished.
9. That God’s moral requirements are the same
upon all men in all dispensations; that these are summarily contained in the commandments spoken by Jehovah from Sinai, engraven on the tables of stone, and deposited in the ark, which was in consequence called the “ark of the covenant,” or testament. Num. 10:33,
Heb. 9:4, etc.; that this law is immutable and perpetual, being a transcript of the tables deposited in the
ark in the true sanctuary on high.
10. That the fourth commandment of this law
requires that we devote the seventh day of each
week, commonly called Saturday, to abstinence from
our own labor, and to the performance of sacred and religious duties; that this is the only weekly Sabbath known to the Bible, being the day that was set apart
before paradise was lost, Gen. 2:2, 3, and which will
be observed in paradise restored, Isa. 66:22, 23;
11. That as the man of sin, the papacy, has
thought to change times and laws (the laws of God),
Dan 7:25, and has misled almost all Christendom in
regard to the fourth commandment, we find a prophecy of a reform in this respect to be wrought among believers just before the coming of Christ. Isa. 56:1, 2, 1 Pet. 1:5, Rev. 14:12.
@Cory Edwards 12. That as the natural or carnal heart is at enmity with God and his law, this enmity can be subdued only by a radical transformation of the affections, the exchange of unholy for holy principles; that this transformation follows repentance and faith, is the special work of the Holy Spirit, and constitutes
regeneration or conversion.
13. That as all have violated the law of God, and
cannot of themselves render obedience to his just requirements, we are dependent on Christ, first, for justification from our past offences, and, secondly, for grace whereby to render acceptable obedience to his holy law in time to come.
14. That the Spirit of God was promised to
manifest itself in the church through certain gifts, enumerated especially in 1 Cor. 12 and Eph. 4; that these gifts are not designed to supersede, or take the place of, the Bible, which is sufficient to make us wise unto salvation, any more than the Bible can take the place of the Holy Spirit; that in specifying the various channels of its operation, that Spirit has simply made provision for its own existence and presence with the people of God to the end of time, to lead to an understanding of that word which it had inspired, to convince of sin, and work a transformation in the heart and life; and that those who deny to the Spirit its place and operation, do plainly deny that part of the Bible which assigns to it this work and position.
15. That the grave, whither we all tend, expressed by the Hebrew sheol, and the Greek hades, is
a place of darkness in which there is no work, device, wisdom, or knowledge. Eccl. 9:10.
16. That the state to which we are reduced by
death is one of silence, inactivity, and entire unconsciousness. Ps. 146:4; Eccl. 9:5, 6; Dan. 12:2, etc.
17. That out of this prison house of the grave
mankind are to be brought by a bodily resurrection; the righteous having part in the first resurrection, which takes place at the second advent of Christ, the wicked in the second resurrection, which takes place a thousand years thereafter. Rev. 20:4-6.
18. That at the last trump, the living righteous
are to be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and with the resurrected righteous are to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, so forever to be with the Lord.
19. That these immortalized ones are then
taken to Heaven, to the New Jerusalem, the Father’s house in which there are many mansions, John 14:1-3, where they reign with Christ a thousand years, judging the world and fallen angels, that is, apportioning the punishment to be executed upon them at the close of the one thousand years; Rev. 20:4; 1 Cor. 6:2, 3; that during this time the earth lies in a desolate and chaotic condition, Jer. 4:20-27, described, as in the beginning by the Greek term abussos (õóó ïò ) bottomless pit (Septuagint of Gen. 1:2); and that here Satan is confined during the thousand years, Rev. 20:1, 2, and here finally destroyed, Rev. 20:10; Mal. 4:1; the theatre of the ruin he has wrought in the universe,
being appropriately made for a time his gloomy
prison house, and then the place of his final execution.
20. That at the end of the thousand years, the
Lord descends with his people and the New Jerusalem, Rev. 21:2, the wicked dead are raised and come up upon the surface of the yet unrenewed earth, and gather about the city, the camp of the saints, Rev. 20:9, and fire comes down from God out of heaven and devours them. They are then consumed root and branch, Mal. 4:1, becoming as though they had not been. Obad. 15, 16. In this everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, 2 Thess. 1:9, the wicked meet the everlasting punishment threatened against them, Matt. 25:46. This is the perdition of ungodly men, the fire which consumes them being the fire for which “the heavens and the earth which are now” are kept in store, which shall melt even the elements with its intensity, and purge the earth from the deepest stains of the curse of sin. 2 Pet. 3:7-12.
21. That a new heavens and earth shall spring
by the power of God from the ashes of the old, to be, with the New Jerusalem for its metropolis and capital, the eternal inheritance of the saints, the place where the righteous shall evermore dwell. 2 Pet. 3:13; Ps. 37:11, 29; Matt. 5:5.
These are not a comprehensive list of my beliefs, but only representative.
@Michael Morell You have defended your prophetess honorably and with conviction. Although I do not find your rebuttals to be very convincing, I can respect your position, since you are content and confident in your beliefs. With that knowledge my conscience is clear, and I won’t trouble you anymore about it. You have given me an impressive list of your beliefs, but I am at peace with our differences, so I have no desire to debate the points I disagree with. Besides, I have been on the “offensive” long enough, and you deserve to have your turn at questioning my beliefs if you wish.
I was not purposefully withholding details of my faith from you. I’m sorry if I gave you that impression. Your knowledge is just so extensive that I had simply assumed you knew them from the encompassing term of “reformed theology.” To clarify, I believe in the five solas of the Reformation: Grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone, the glory of God alone, and the scriptures alone. I am also firmly convicted by the “five points of Calvinism,” which are often confused or distorted, so I will elaborate on them for you:
1) Total Depravity: the doctrine espousing our radical corruption from original sin; that the human will is in bondage to the evil impulses and desires of our hearts; that we are entirely deserving of God’s wrath; that the only way to break this cycle of corruption is by the power of the Holy Spirit; and that our sinful nature will not be entirely purged until we receive our glorified bodies. (Jeremiah 17:9; Psalm 51:5; Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1; John 3:19)
2) Unconditional Election: the doctrine that salvation is not conditional; that God does not forsee an action or condition on our part that induces Him to save us; that our salvation is utterly dependent upon God’s sovereign and merciful decision to save whomever He chooses to save. (Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 115:3; Malachi 1:2-3; Ephesians 1:4; Romans 8:29; 2 Timothy 1:9)
3) Limited Atonement: the doctrine that specifies the redeeming work of Christ is only available to those who repent and believe; that the blood of Christ is sufficient to cover all sins for all mankind, but only those whom God has chosen will be saved under that work of salvation. (Isaiah 53:11; Micah 7:18; 1 Chronicles 17:21; Titus 2:14; John 17:9; Hebrews 9:28)
4) Irresistible Grace: the doctrine specifying that it is God alone who brings about regeneration and faith; that those on whom God’s grace has fallen are effected the way God intends; that our hearts are truly changed, and that we truly desire God; that God alone has this power to change our nature and it is without our help or guidance. (Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 36:26; Psalm 65:4; John 3:27; 1 Peter 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:6)
5) Perseverance of the Saints: the doctrine that those who are saved will never be lost; that the Holy Spirit is God’s seal upon us, ensuring our salvation; that when God begins working within us, He promises to finish that work; that our assurance in salvation is not in our ability, but rests solely in the redemptive power of Christ and the work of saving grace He places within us when calling us to Himself. (Ecclesiastes 3:14; Isaiah 46:4; Jeremiah 32:40; Romans 11:29; Hebrews 7:25; Philippians 1:6)
I also don’t believe a clear understanding of eschatology is necessary as evidence of our salvation. I take a simple amillennial view when it comes to the end times, but it’s not necessarily a staple of my beliefs, as it is subject to change if I am convicted by some greater understanding. A brief summary of that view is that the Kingdom of God is here, and Christ is ruling with His saints in heaven now, ever since satan was bound by Christ’s victory over sin and death; at some point in the future the devil will be let loose, and he will make war against God and His people, but Christ will return in judgement and cast all of His enemies into eternal fire, ushering in eternal paradise and the rule of Christ on earth.
If you have other questions about my position on certain topics, I will be happy to answer them. I hope you are well, and I look forward to speaking with you more. The grace and peace of our Lord be with you.
@Gabriel Kinzel sorry for blowing up your comments. I hope we haven’t been bothering you too much.

Doesn’t the Trinity doctrine come from Catholicism 🤔
@abukid These verses pose a problem for Christians who have been taught that no one has ever seen God. The Hebrew text clearly says that God appeared to Abraham in the *form of a man* and He was with *two angels* who also took on human appearance.
This does not make Jesus GOD.
Is it important where it came from, important is that it is true
No.
@MICHAEL DUKES Where did that theory originate then?
@abukid 1+Billion people are taking the wide road
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16,17
What can we learn from the words of Jesus?
1. God is the Father of Jesus Christ.
2. Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
3. God had a Son to send into the world.
@ClipSwitch Flashlights if you’ve read everything I’ve previously written to others you would know the difference between ego eimi and ho on. “I am” vs “self existing one” and you would understand what “the lamb slain from the the foundation of the world” means. I’ll believe Jesus’s words over every other man that’s contributed to make people side with the Pharisees words over what Jesus said as they twist his words and make him out to be a liar. Jesus will always be the son of the living GOD first born of the dead. Prince of the kings of the earth. I’ll believe his words all day long everyday 100%

I’ll believe also what GOD said, “this is my beloved son in whom I’m well pleased, Hear him”

This is excellent teaching. Reminds me so much of my first couple of years as a Christian trying to understand the Trinity, but, to my frustration, all I encountered were endless proof text battles over where Jesus may or may not have been called God, and unwitting modalists using heretical analogies to try and explain it. Thankfully I was led to teaching similar to that outlined by Dr White; what does it mean to call Jesus Lord, and an understanding of the difference between person and being.
I BELIEVE IN THE FATHER,THE SON AND THE HOLYSPIRIT
I just started reading “The Forgotten Trinity” and this shows up in my feed.
So who sits on the Throne in Heaven? Do the Father and Holy Spirit bow down to the name of Jesus and confess that He is Lord? What is the name of the Holy Spirit? If the Son is eternal, when was He begotten? In Heaven, or on earth?
