@Anna Yudin I wished for that, got sick and now it’s barely there, enjoy and embrace 馃挄what you have. Remember God has a weird sense of humor. Try layered hair cut and wear it different ways. Blessings.

Sorry about Maggie, make sure she is properly placed to avoid legal liability from your dog roaming at large. Being a Grandparent and rescuing dogs nothing worse than abandoned dogs, find her a home, we actually have wild packs attacking folks and stock around here. Love your channel and keep sharing we learn so much. Blessings 鉂わ笍

So last night you said canning is killing, and that you should ferment and it鈥檚 better.?? Do you eat meat or pressure cook(can meat) ? So that that kill the enzymes as well? Just curious is all. I鈥檓 52 and gardened all my life the natural way since I could walk, country lived, met my Amish wife in 84, and never heard of fermentation. Alright keep on the grid and hopefully get a response from ya all when you get time.! Oh and do my own hives and like seeing the hives you and the other guy do. Gonna make one this winter and try it out and when I split one of my hives I鈥檒l put em in. Ok stay warm and enjoy the four season even though it鈥檚 winter and cold.! 馃ザ馃憤鉁岋笍馃檹馃徏

When Stacy鈥檚 cook book comes out would you let us know please

  • LindyTN

I learned real quick when I moved to the country, that Maggie鈥檚 behavior is typical of dogs that are left loose to make their own decisions as to whether to stay or roam. I had an older dog wonder off and take my pup with her. Eventually the puppy found her way back. The older dog never came back. I had the same happen again with an older dog that I had that was not a roaming dog. Especially given that he was older. Until I brought in a pup. Something about having a partner in crime makes you do things you might not ordinarily do. Dogs, like people, often have the desire to roam, explore and expand their territory. We live on 60 acres of land. After the last time my dogs wondered off, I keep them fenced in our yard, unless they are with us. Our house is fenced on 3 sides, which works well. It keeps the dogs in and near our house for protection and alarming us. They keep vermin out of our yard and away from our house. It is a rare dog that will not roam when given the opportunity. They will get into trouble roaming. They will pack up with other roaming dogs. They often will start harassing the neighbors farm animals. Even though they won鈥檛 bother yours, does not mean they won鈥檛 bother someone else鈥檚. They know your animals are off limits. You taught them that. But in the dogs mind, that does not mean someone else鈥檚 animals are off limits. As far as your dog is concerned, they are free game. When that happens, they will likely get shot and killed.

You should have followed Maggie. Someone else probably has her.

    • Ana Larson

I pray so hard on that, having a dog run wild doing their thing is dangerous to the dog and the public at large as well as the legal liability. Our animals need to legally be on property and under control, many of us here following them would have adopted her or found her a good home, been rescuing dogs for decades as possible art of our educational homestead life. She was probably sick or bored as most airedales are intelligent and high energy and hide poor health very well. Hope they spend some time, energy, and money to right that issue, it’s tough stuff. Blessings to the journey.
