Franklin Graham’s Admonition to Chick-fil-A too Late – it has Already Drifted Left
source: The Daily Beast
Franklin Graham was one of the original defenders of Chick-fil-A after it stated it was no longer going to financially support the Salvation Army or the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The issue was further exacerbated when it was discovered Chick-fil-A was now supporting Covenant House, an “organization that, on its website, openly and proudly supports everything about the LGBT community.”
This is important because heavy-handed LGBTQ protests of Chick-fil-A were in regard to the Salvation Army or the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Incredibly, Chick-fil-A Foundation donated to the enemies of Christianity, the Southern Poverty Law Center, which publicly calls Christians and Christian organization adhering to biblical teachings on sexuality as hate groups. Essentially, they’re calling Jesus Christ and God the Father as being purveyors of hate because of the guidelines and commands concerning the parameters of sexuality, which is to be engaged in between one man and one woman that are married to one another. For Chick-fil-A to fund our enemies is mind boggling, to say the least.
As for Franklin Graham, he is rightly backtracking earlier statements made after a call made to Dan Cathy. In that conversation Graham said that Chick-fil-A hadn’t “changed who they are or what they believe.” There is no way of interpreting that than to say Graham was lied to. Their actions are what determines the truth of the situation, not verbal assertions.
The only conclusion to make is Chick-fil-A has caved to pressure from the left, and is now subsidizing deviant sexuality and enemies of Jesus Christ like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
The only way they can regain trust is to publicly repent and get rid of the SJWs that have infiltrated the business and attacked the core Christian customer base of the company. We’re waiting. I wouldn’t hold my breath.
