Awesome ! Welcome back, we live in Broward close to the Everglades. Can’t wait for you to do a So. Florida event! Or if you’re ever offering tours of your food forest so my kids can see what one actually looks like ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Once y’all get settled and make your way to the Ocala area, I have a potted Black Sapote for you with your name on it brother, if you are interested.
Welcome back to Florida brother, you know what they say : you can take the man out of Florida, but you can’t take the Florida out of the man, LOL !!!
May God continue to bless you and you wonderful family and hope to catch one of your Food Forest talks.
I was blessed to have met you up at Ms. Carolyn’s place for the N. FL. Food Forest Talk. Lots of fun, learned a lot, and enjoyed the fellowship. Somehow I can’t help feeling that the trees, plants, and flowers are smiling just because their Native Son has returned. ๐Ÿ˜
Be blessed, stay safe, have fun and welcome home. Peace.

Welcome home! Many a day while we were expats, I would click my ruby red slippers together and say ‘ there is no place like home’. And we had it better than most. God bless the USA even with the hiccups that are here. Welcome home – Enjoy your garden.

  • Jeff Roberts

Glad you went and succeeded in C.A.. The pull of “home” is so very strong it is like a soft voice in your head. I was born in Jersey, spent 26 years in Florida and the voice kept politely nagging me. I am now “home” in South Carolina with 4 seasons. And I am happy. You will be too. Hope all your family is safe and happy too!

  • Lisa Kukla

Welcome home, David! Glad to have you back.
You left the States to avoid the collapse, but came back just as the real free fall begins. ๐Ÿค”
Just teasing; I totally get your reasoning, but it’s still amusing. You’re right about isolation. I spent most of last year doing a work-trade way out on a 130 acre permaculture beef farm where nobody else was ever home and I wasn’t actually allowed to do any work. Weird situation, and it really felt like something inside was withering away. Moved back to town in Jan and even in lockdown I’m having way more interaction than I did last year. Massive difference.

  • Turnin' Wrenches

This put a huge smile on my face! Because I found you when you were already in the tropics.

My dad told me Costa Rica can get sketchy for a gringo.
