Seems like you have a super nice family and i love the video. I really like your quite and pleasant and very informative delivery style. Is it illegal in your state to harvest bait with a dipnet that has tight webbing? I agree that you want to match the hatch if possible.

I heard if you use the seed of the Mullen Plant to catch fish is illegal. But good to know in a survival situation.

Crappie are the best tasting fresh water fish in my opinion. I live in Texas and April is the best time to catch them!!!!!!

#askhomesteady. Hey. Just realized I never got back with you about that little bull. We had some trouble with the heifer we got, and things got crazy so I didn’t get any more pics. But she contacted me yesterday and said he was still available and that she had dropped the price. I saw that you guys are using a Scottish highlander little bull. That’s going to be a cool cross if it takes. We have friends that raise those “hippy cows” and they wouldn’t eat anything else!
